About Crystals

Crystals is a family owned and operated business specializing in women's clothing --- sportswear and outerwear. Come in an meet us. Mom and Dad work on Mondays; the rest of the week you will see me, Crystal or Bobbi, our honorary relative. Good service is our goal.

We are open seven days a week. Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM. Sunday we open at 11 AM and close at 4 PM.

Dad has been in retail all his life and managed many different stores before going into business for himself in Daly City, CA. Now he serves as my mentor and advisor.

Mom is an old time secretary so doesn't consider herself management, but loves to meet and help people.

People tell me "oh you are following in your father's foot steps". His feet are pretty big to fill .... so I'd say I'm just lucky that this store is one of my passions.

Bobbi had her own beauty shop for many years and after cloing it, missed being with her cliental. I knew I found the right person when she said, "I love your customers - can I work more hours?"

Many local people are under the mistaken impression that there are only antique stores in Historic Downtown Placerville, that they have to go elsewhere for clothing. WRONG! Besides Crystal's, there are several other stores on Main Street which sell women's apparel: Combellack's, Placerville Clothing, Renfro's, Velvet Treasurers,

Blue Skies, Violet's are Blue and a new contempory store called Fireflies. Each store features different price ranges and age-appropriate clothing. Hey! There is even a belly dancing store called Empress at the far end of Main Street!

Courtesy Chair Just For Men and/or for tired women ... We have a special courtesy chair. Ladies, now you can bring that reluctant gent with you when you shop. Crystal promises you that he will be glad he came with you. Our courtesy chair is our version of a welcome mat.
