Dressing for a Wedding

I learned about a new trend from a customer who had been invited to a wedding and needed something suitable to wear.  She wanted two outfits because she told me that the new trend was to "dress down" for the reception.  That was news to me. 

Weddings nowadays are diverse ranging from the highly formal, to weddings on boats, in the back yard, on horseback, or even on a sled at Tahoe in the winter.  You have to find out what form that particular wedding is taking so that you can help a guest find the appropriate outfit for the wedding and which will also be useful in everyday life.

Two outfits sounds pretty fancy to me.  In olden times when I married, a fancy wedding had a reception in the church hall with cake and punch.  Yes, it was tame --- but lots cheaper.

	Crystal and Dad are the experts when it comes to merchandise at the store --- not me, I am an old time secretary.  I learn a lot not only from them but a lot from customers. Mom
