Roxie Brown Wins the Contest !

Customers have often remarked to me how much "fun" it must be to go to market to select the merchandise that we sell at Crystal's. We sponsored a "Shadow A Buyer for a Day" Contest and the winner was: Roxie Brown Rescue, CA Roxie, Bobbi and I traveled to the Concourse Convention Center in San Francisco on Sunday, October 21st.

We left Cameron Park around 8 AM and arrived just after 11:30 AM with a stop for a light breakfast (and coffee) along the day. Roxie got her first look at how a buyer works with the sales reps and makes impulse decisions on what merchandise is needed sometimes six months in advance.

We brought some Spring weight jackets and just wait and see the adorable leather-like jacket and three quarter length rain jacket that Roxie picked out. She purchased the socks which have already arrived at the store and some wonderful knitted scarves and chenille gloves that will be great Christmas stocking stuffers!
